An awesome restoration job here with the SMILEBOX version on disc 2 being the best piece of HD I have ever seen. To give an idea of its size I own a 46" Full HD Sharp, at the extreme edges of the screen there is 1" of black top & bot... tom. In the centre of the screen there is 3.5" of black giving the effect of the 150 degree original curved screen. With the join lines elliminated for over 90% of the movie nothing bends as it does when viewed flat on disc 1. Colour, contrast, hues are PERFECT. True HD audio excellent considering its age 46 years. Documentary 'Cinerama Adventure' excellent but in SD. Watch the trailer on disc 1 first in 4:3 letterbox, then go straight to disc 2 AWESOME Shame the smilebox is only on blu ray, but THIS IS THE BEST REASON EVER TO GET YOURSELVES A BLU RAY DECK!!!! Saying this I worked projecting HTWWW in Cinerama 3 strip in the 60's, this is the closest you will ever get to that great experience
