The Awakening is a romantic adventure which follows Sara, a responsible, hard-working young woman who runs a small boarding house. She takes no risks and lives strictly by the book, but her life is turned upside down by Flynn, a handsome bounty hunter. Despite her best friend's warnings, Sara teams up with Flynn to track one of Sara's errant tenants, a convicted antiquities smuggler. Their adventure leads them to pose as archeologists, art collectors and husband and wife. Along the way, Sara discovers a passion within herself that she never knew existed.
